In September 2020 I transferred my CEO responsibilities to Vojtech Frgal who was, at the time, Head of Sales at GENERAL BYTES. Many of you know him through email as he has been with us since March 2017. Vojtech knows you, he knows most of the company processes, including interdepartmental dependencies and Vojtech has been with GENERAL BYTES during the bull-market ups and bear-market downs. I also trust that Vojtech will continue to preserve the company's core values such as truth, privacy, and freedom.
I kindly ask you to accept the change with a positive approach and please support Vojtech in his new role. You are informed about the change with a slight delay as the complete handover was finished only a few days ago by transferring also the Managing Director position to Vojtech. I want to assure you that I’m not leaving GB, I’m staying in my remaining CTO and Product Manager positions where I want to concentrate on continuous delivery of new features and products in 2021 and years to come.

I feel humbled and honored to follow in the footsteps of Karel Kyovsky and I look forward to continuing building on his impressive legacy. I have been working in the company since 2017, and the most significant advantage of my new position is the knowledge of almost every client at GENERAL BYTES because of my previous work in the sales department. I want to continue in the same direction as the company has had so far because during the time I have already spent at GENERAL BYTES, we have received a lot of feedback from our clients, so I am absolutely convinced that we are on the right track.
We are living in a time of intense disruption and impact for all of us. I feel deep sympathy, compassion, and pride in how we all are taking care of each other and adapting to new ways of working. We take care of each other at GENERAL BYTES, but also of those around us like our customers, suppliers, and local communities. GENERAL BYTES can only do well if society and the environment around us are doing well too. Together with the team at GENERAL BYTES, I am confident that we will successfully navigate this crisis while building a bright future and would like to thank Karel once again for this great opportunity and for everything he does for our company. We will continue to improve our products and make sure that new and existing customers are satisfied as possible with us.
